This free Garmin GPS Topo for Italy maps is based on data from the OpenStreetMap project. The free Topo Map Italy is converted to be used on Garmin GPS devices. All GPS maps are fully routable. The map is stored in a zip file. To unzip the files you need a program like WinRAR or similar.
The GPS Topo map Italy is provided in three or four different formats:
